Chanctonbury Community Leisure is a charity Leisure Centre in the heart of Storrington Village.
The business had high energy bills and went for LED lighting to help cut their bills and improve their green credentials.
Andi Dunstan, Operations Director, said:.
“As a newly formed charity, utility costs have become a major focus for our business. After refurbishing our outside court to an all weather 3G football court we attracted a significant uplift in usage, from zero hours per week to 35+ hours per week.
We’ve replaced the existing, inefficient fluorescent floodlight to LED. This has significantly reduced our electricity liability linked with 3G usage. We are now able to provide a low cost, floodlit pitch which is accessed by over 20 local teams every week.”
